Herrin native culminates career with new process to restore audio tape

Here at IMES, we know our team is our secret sauce, and we try our best to ensure that the world knows that WE know that’s why our clients come to us to help solve their archiving challenges. But it’s a thrill when the outside world acknowledges one of our people publicly, as this wonderful article does for Kelly Pribble, our principal studio engineer and preservation specialist.

Kelly hails from the town of Herrin at the southern tip of Illinois, so it is only appropriate that his hometown paper, The Southern Illinoisan, did this write-up celebrating his life’s journey and dedication to the art of preserving music.

In fact, The Southern created a two-part series on Kelly’s career. You can check out both of them at the links to The Southern, or by downloading the PDF below.

Part 1: Herrin native culminates career with new process to restore audio tape (accessible only from the US)

Part 2: Music Historicity: Preserving audio history one tape at a time (accessible only from the US)
