It's where Osbourne heard for the first time in decades the original copy of his iconic "Crazy Train," as well as where he excitedly discovered an unreleased song that ... well, more on that in a bit.
Herrin native culminates career with new process to restore audio tape
Kelly Pribble is a man on a mission. His altruistic goal is to save all the archived audio tape in the world before it deteriorates and is lost forever.

About a decade ago, Iron Mountain consolidated its entertainment offerings under Iron Mountain Entertainment Services (IMES) and expanded not only into audio archiving but also into an entire range of offsite storage for irreplaceable artifacts such as costumes, film and related rarities. Lance Podell, Senior Vice President and General Manager of IMES, has a background in advertising and entertainment and he built and ran YouTube Spaces, YouTube’s global studio system. He now oversees IMES’ daily operations.
Saving the Bob Dylan Archive from Adhesion Syndrome
Pro Sound News recently reported on IMES’ partnership with the Bob Dylan Archive to save 62 2-inch original recordings by the Nobel-winning artist that were suffering from adhesion syndrome.

“A lot of the stuff had been sitting in these pallets for decades and no one had really touched it,” said Aly Parker, a producer on the [Bee Gees] film. “I’ve worked with other [archive] houses, and they’re all great. But Iron Mountain probably has the most capabilities. If you’ve got something weird, you take it to them.”
